Meritous is an action-adventure dungeon crawl game.

Far below the surface of the planet is a secret.

Dome in search of answers.


INSTALLATION:

Run Meritous.exe after extraction and everything should work correctly.

If the game is too difficult for you, you can play in 'Wuss mode' for
a far more sombre gaming experience.


BASIC CONTROLS:

Arrow keys - Move around. To walk through doors, simply walk up to
them and push against them.

Space - Charge your PSI circuit for attacking.

Escape - Exit the game.

H - View the help file.

Tab - View the map (you can then use the arrow keys to scroll
around the map.

Enter - Activate a trigger tile that you are standing on.
Enter is also used for various other things, such as
for reading in-game dialogue.

P - Pause the game.

The Settlers: Smak a Thief

Your mission is to protect your gold and silver from the thieves. You have a few guards available, who protect your treasure, but they seem that they don't have slept well at night, so they doing it now at work, mostly when the thieves are carrying away your treasure. So you have to wake your guards by punching them, they then trying to stop the thieves, when they are in range. But you can also punch the thieves directly, either way, they let the gold/silver fall down and run away. Your settlers will then return the treasure back to the depot. The harder you punch the thieves, the more time you have, before this one returns.

For your task, you have some gimmicks available (you can find them in some levels), like bombs, which will destroy the terrain and throw all people in range away, matchsticks, to set them on fire, or an air pump, to inflate them.

Each level has a time limit, so all you have to do, is to stand with some of your treasure until the time runs out. If all of the gold/silver has been carried away, you loose.

The game offers an online high score. To get in there, you must stop manually before a new level (or finish the complete game). If you loose in a level, your score is lost.

A very nice fan game, but a difficult one. The graphics are very good. The music and sound effects are great. You even have a health meter. You can triple jump and you can wall-kick. It has fully functional Mario everything, from turtle shells to fire flowers to spring boards.
The controls are not easy at all. eg. By pressing Shift twice you can make a double jump, but you need some pratice to find out the exact timing to do it.

Story:
Having celebrated a recent defeat over the mighty Dark Wizard, King Bowser of the Koopa, Peach and Mario begin the period of "downtime". However, not so much as having time to even breathe a sigh of relief, Princess Peach is snatched once again -- but the creature who took her certainly didn't -look- like one of Bowser's minions, did it? MK Project

n 1992 a fighting videogame called Mortal Kombat was launched, featuring graphics and movements based on real actors and a high level of blood and violence.

This new approach to fighting games caused a total revolution, which in turn gave place to many subsequent titles. A few Mortal Kombat fans decided to create a completely free version of this game using the M.U.G.E.N. gaming engine and including all the characters that have appeared along the Mortal Kombat series.

Mortal Kombat Project features more than 30 characters with all their special movements and the so called "Fatalities". However it's still in beta, so it has some bugs. Kumoon

The goal of the game is to complete all the rooms successfully. The only way you can complete a room is to have 0 or positive points when you have tilted over all the red/green boxes.

Normally you cannot complete a room just by shooting at the boxes directly. You will get too many penalty points for using too many bullets. Instead you need to use the score multiplier feature. This can be done by bouncing the bullet from the wall before hitting the red/green boxes. This way the points you get will be multiplied by 10 (or 20 or 30, depending on how many bounces the bullet makes before hitting the boxes).

Note that the first shot is always free, regardless of weapon. A good way is to use either the shotgun or the bazooka for the first shot, since they are much more powerful that the revolver. After the first bullet you probably want to use the revolver, because you get much less penalty points for using the revolver bullets.
